To extract NFB files I found out a different method which I want to share with you.
1. open notepad
2. Drag and drop the .NFB file in Notepad
3. Copy paste the content from the Notepad file to an empty Excel sheet
4 Voila! All you SMS text messages and Phonebook items are nicely sorted in an Excel sheet.

Cheers!

I apologise to everyone who's been emailing / posting comments. I've been very busy. However, I've just received an offer to help with the coding, and I'm looking into this to see what can be done. Keep your eyes open.

Please Please Please make this work for 7610!

I can't believe they don't make those files work with different models. Surely the main reason for restoring those files is cos you don't have the same file anymore. I only bought a new Nokia cos I thought I would be able to recover the data from the 7610.

Also, I could do with restoring my text message nfb file!

Would be so grateful if you made these programs
